This summer, Lauren Curry, Director of Development and Community Engagement for IMAC, continued to cement our partnership with the Martin Luther King Center. Lauren Curry led The Night Out Program, generously funded by the GPD Group Employees’ Foundation. This program sought to supplement the humanities learning in School 43, attended by most of the MLK students. Up to 10 students accompanied by a parent or guardian attended 3 cultural events in Indianapolis, creating opportunities for both child and adult to engage around the arts and think critically about what they saw by engaging in rich discussions.
