At Indy Movement Arts, we believe dance and movement can be a force for good in people's lives. Attending class can be an outlet for self-expression, a way to find community, or a tool in building a more healthy, active lifestyle. We don't want money to stand between people and these benefits. If you want to attend class but can't spare the cash, apply to the Movement Scholarship Fund to cover your spot in one class session (4-5 classes). See you on the dance floor!

  1. The fund will cover the class fee of the applicant to attend 1 session (approximately one month) of an Indy Movement Arts class at our home at the Basile Opera Center at 4011 N. Pennsylvania Street, 46205.

  2. Applicants must be at least 18 years old

  3. Applicants must submit a brief application (see application below)

  4. Scholarship applications for September sessions are due by Wednesday, August 31st.

  5. Scholarship recipients must attend each class in the covered session. If a scheduling conflict arises, the recipient must send notice of their absence to at least 24 hours in advance.

  6. Applicants are welcomed to reapply each month.

Applications for June sessions are due by May 29th.

Class dates and times are subject to change.
